5 simple rules for website content optimizing

“Content” is all the information that is posted on the site. Let’s figure out how the content should look to involve the user, leave it on the site and force to make a bid.

  • Readability

The information has to be well-readed. Nobody wants to scale the page to see the description of the product. Font, its size and register, color – all this affects the perception of the your site visitor. If the user doesn’t like something, he will just close the page and open the site of your competitor. The minimum font size is 14 px, and the headers should be highlighted bold or even a different font. The same applies to the color of the text. It is worth to highlight only important information, but remember that sharp, poisonous colors only scare and irritate.

  • Bold, italic and underlined text

This design apply only if you want to highlight an important point in the text, which is worth paying attention to. But in everything you should know the measure, even if it seems to you that everything in your text is important. By the way, the allocation of keys has long been irrelevant and has more negative consequences.

  • Visual design

Now read an article without pictures, infographics, videos, tables or graphs is not interesting for anyone. Therefore, be sure to add interesting, high-quality pictures that will entice the client, a video that would be useful to the visitor and any other graphic information that may influence his decision.

  • Headings

They are needed everywhere: both in the text and on the site. You can understand what is at stake by quick view at them. Huge linens of the text are already useless to nobody and nobody reads them. Headings and subtitles should differ in size from the main text.

  • Lists

All lists should be numbered or bulleted, in order to better understand the information. Like the main text, they must be designed in accordance with the rules described above.
